A 20 acre lake set in 30 acre plot, with 9 swims; 3 doubles and 3 singles.  Island Lake France is not classed as an easy water.  However, if you're up for the challenge, the rewards are there to be found.

All swims are equipped with a fisherman's lodge containing a fridge and freezer; a barbeque is also provided.  Electricity is supplied to each swim.

Access around the lake is via a gravel track, enabling you to park and unload your equipment at your swim.

There are two toilet and shower blocks.

Island Lake France has a good fish stock with approximately 200 carp, with an average weight of 40lb.

Currently, the largest carp weighed in at 77lb in October 2022.
